The plaintiffs in three of the actions sued to recover for property damage sustained by reason of the collapse of the brick walls of a building owned by the defendant. The fourth action was brought by plaintiff Keir individually and as guardian ad litem for his minor daughter, Violet Keir, to recover for personal injuries sustained by her.
